Horror heads, assemble! If, like us, you're still traumatised by 2016's Don't Breathe, then you'll be thrilled (and a little bit scared) to hear that a sequel is coming next summer.
Set for release on 13th August 2021 and rumoured to be titled Don't Breathe Again, the follow-up film with see Stephen Lang's infamous Blind Man character return to our screens.
If you need a refresher, the original movie saw three thieves break into the house of Norman (AKA The Blind Man) a Gulf War veteran who is blind, to steal his money.
However, much to the trio's horror, they discover that Norman is not as defenceless as they imagined him to be.

Stephen tweeted earlier this month that production on the sequel had successfully wrapped, with coronavirus health and safety procedures maintained throughout.
Posting a photo of some Don't Breathe merch, the actor wrote: "I'm wrapped! A splendidly rugged shoot. Thank you Belgrade. All health and safety protocols observed to the letter. Well done all! #@DontBreathe #@DontBreatheMovie."
The actor's followers promptly went wild.
"So happy this is getting a sequel!! I absolutely loved the first movie!" wrote one fan.

"I can't wait!!" commented another.
"Omg," chimed in a third.
Don't Breathe co-writer Rodo Sayagues has returned to direct the sequel, which is reportedly set several years after the break-in which plays out in the 2016 film.
According to Bloody Disgusting, the follow-up movie will see The Blind Man living in an 'isolated cabin'. Since the events of the original plot, he's taken in and raised a young girl orphaned by a housefire.
Now he's living in quiet seclusion - until the events of the past catch up with him, that is.

As to what Stephen means when he says "splendidly rugged" - well, we'll just have to wait and see.
One thing's for sure - we'll be hiding behind our popcorn for this sequel.
We have a while to wait for the release, but in the meantime we'll be trying to get our hands on the merch pictured in Stephen's tweet.
Don't Breathe 2 is set to be released on 13th August 2021.
