If you're a Disney fan like us, you'll no doubt be painfully jealous that some of the world already have access to the massive bank of TV shows and movies they've got up for grabs on Disney+.

But fear not, because it has now been confirmed that the streaming platform is launching in the UK on March 24th.

It won't just be the UK who has to wait no longer, as the platform will launch on the same date for those in Ireland, France, Germany, Spain, Austria and Switzerland.

Meanwhile, additional Western Europe markets including Belgium, the Nordics, and Portugal, will have to wait a little longer, until summer 2020.

The service will be available for £5.99 per month, but there is also an opportunity to pay £59.99 annually.

But what do you get for your money? Well, predictably, a whole lotta Disney...

Packed full of over 7,500 episodes and 500 films, signing up to the Disney+ streaming service means you get entire franchises at your disposal - from Toy Story, The Little Mermaid, and Pirate of the Caribbean to Star Wars.

Titles featured stem all the way back to Disney's origins, including Pinocchio (1940), Fantasia (1940), Bambi (1942) and its first animated feature film Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs (1937), while brand new productions, including the Lady and the Tramp live-action remake which forwent a cinema release to launch exclusively on the service, are also included.

Plus, Disney classics, such as Alice In Wonderland, Beauty and the Beast, The Jungle Book, Cinderella will also be available, alongside their modern day Pixar and live-action remakes.

More modern favourites like the live action Lady and the Tramp will also feature (

Big news for Lizzie McGuire fans too, as the platform will offer a look at the brand spanking new reboot.

What's more, every episode of The Simpsons is available on the service.

Robert Iger, Disney's chairman and CEO, said: "Disney+ marks a bold step forward in an exciting new era for our company-one in which consumers will have a direct connection to the incredible array of creative content that is The Walt Disney Company's hallmark.

"We are confident that the combination of our unrivalled storytelling, beloved brands, iconic franchises, and cutting-edge technology will make Disney+ a standout in the marketplace, and deliver significant value for consumers and shareholders alike."

Mark the date in your diaries, Disney lovers.
