Disney has confirmed there will be a third Hocus Pocus film.

Just when you thought things couldn't get better when the movie studio dropped the long-awaited sequel last year, they've gone and done it again.

Hocus Pocus 2 was released in September, which was nearly 30 years since the original premiered in cinemas around the world.

Everyone went collectively mad over the sequel and all the nods it had to the OG.

However, it looks like the Sanderson sisters aren't done terrorising us.

Disney

Sean Bailey is the president of Walt Disney Studios Motion Picture Production and he's sat down with The New York Times to talk about his vision.

He was asked about loads of different projects and the conversation definitely touched on whether we would get to see the fabulous trio of Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy again.

There's no word on when we will be able to see the Sanderson sisters back on the big screen but it's just beautiful that we'll get more action.

He was also quizzed on the unnamed sixth Pirates of the Caribbean film.

“We think we have a really good, exciting story that honors the films that have come before but also has something new to say," Sean Bailey said to The New York Times.

But when asked whether Johnny Depp could make a return as Captain Jack Sparrow, things got interesting.

Sean said Disney is 'noncommittal at this point', which certainly isn't a no.

The Disney boss is hitting the live-action films hard following the success of The Little Mermaid.

“While the international opening was softer than we would have liked, the film is playing exceptionally well which we believe sets us up for a very long run,” he said.

They're also doing a live-action on Hercules, Lilo and Stitch and Moana.

We'll also be getting a prequel film next year about one of The Lion King's biggest characters.

Mufasa: The Lion King has been described as a 'photorealistic' movie that will be directed by Barry Jenkins, and focus on the origins of Simba's dad.
