So, what do we know about the series, so far?
In an interview back in May, Mancini also promised that the TV show will be different from the recent reboot, featuring a combination of old characters and new additions.
For one, we know Brad Dourif is returning as the voice of Chucky, and Jennifer Tilly, who played Tiffany Valentine, will also be making a comeback.

The series is set to dig into the back story of Charles Lee Ray before he became a killer, and transferred his soul into the Good Guy doll, in order to use it as a vessel for his evil.
And we know the show is set to be good, seeing as Mancini has worked on all seven of the Child's Play movies released between 1988 and 2017, which have all been positively terrifying.
As well as opening up new storylines and character development, the series is set to act as a sequel to the film franchise, picking up narratives from where they left off in films like Cult of Chucky and Seed of Chucky.

The official description for the series teases: "After a vintage Chucky doll turns up at a suburban yard sale, an idyllic American town is thrown into chaos as a series of horrifying murders begin to expose the town's hypocrisies and secrets.
"Meanwhile, the arrival of enemies and allies from Chucky's past threatens to expose the truth behind the killings, as well as the demon doll's untold origins as a seemingly ordinary child who somehow became this notorious monster."
We can't wait. Now, brb, we're off to hide all the dolls in our house.
