American Horror Stories: Date Confirmed For New American Horror Story Spinoff

American Horror Story fans, get ready. The show's much anticipated spin-off, American Horror Stories, lands next month.

This is not a drill.

AHS announced the news on Twitter, alongside a spooky video of a devil-horned woman walking through a blazing fire, and a slithering red snake.

During the clip, the words: "Fear takes new form. A twisted new anthology series," darted across the scene.

"More horror than you can handle. American Horror Stories premieres July 15 exclusively on #FXonHulu," the tweet read.

The anthology series is made up of seven one hour stand alone episodes delving into horror myths, legends and gore.

Each episode is set to profile a different horror story, and while we don't know the cast yet, the show's creator, Ryan Murphy has teased that "many of these episodes will feature AHS stars you know and love."

Names attached to the series include Evan Peters, Taissa Farmiga, and Matt Bomer, among some other new faces.

Plus, we also know that AHS alum Sarah Paulson will be directing an episode - as if things couldn't get any better!

How dreamy does this sound, horror heads?!

While the 15th July drop is only over in the US, we'll be soon to update you as soon as the show is available to watch over in the UK.

In the meantime, we can enjoy the fact that we're getting not one but two doses of AHS this year.

Yep, the tenth instalment of the show will be called American Horror Story: Double Feature, and will be made up of two seasons, airing in the same year.

The cast list has been confirmed for one of the seasons, set in the sea - and this includes Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Adina Porter, Lily Rabe, Finn Wittrock, Frances Conroy, Leslie Grossman, and Macaulay Culkin.

Meanwhile, the second season will be set on the sand. It's not currently clear whether the second part of the 'double' season will officially be classed as Season 11 - or when we'll find out more about the cast for the eleventh instalment.

So. Much. AHS. Suspense.
