This is epic.

During these strange isolation times, there has been one constant and something that has brought everybody together whilst physically apart: Tiger King.

The Netflix show is a mind-boggling real life documentary that has shot to the number one spot on the streaming platform. Everyone is obsessed.

Given this fascination and that everyone is meant to be staying inside pretty much all the time, boredom has led many to dress up like characters from the show.

You heard us right. With plenty of time on their hands, families have been keeping themselves busy by emulating Joe Exotic himself, as well as the likes of Carole Baskin and Kelci Saffery.

Some have chosen to rock a Joe-esque mullet wig and hold pretend guns, whilst others pose as his tigers, or use soft toys or even get their pets to stand in for the big cats.

Even celebs have been getting in on the action, with Sylvester Stallone's family and presenter Laura Whitmore all playing dress up. It is epic.

We know what's going to be keeping us busy this weekend - just need to dig out that tiger print shirt we know we've got somewhere.

We really do understand this level of obsession, too. It is literally the most bizarre and gripping docuseries we've seen in a long time.

If you've not seen it yet, what the hell have you been doing in isolation?

Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness tells the story of Joseph Maldonado-Passage, otherwise known as Joe Exotic.

He has a mullet you will never forget, wears outrageous/fabulous outfits, he's a polygamist and he was a prolific big cat breeder who ran a zoo in Oklahoma - that was until he was jailed for 22 years for wildlife crimes as well as two murder-for-hire plots.

The show, told through a mix of archival and new footage, extends you an invite into his mad world, as well as big cat subculture in America and its key players.

But it focuses predominantly on Joe - who is a bit of a local celebrity and even ran for state governor - and his vicious feud with long-time rival Carole Baskin who runs a big cat sanctuary.

We literally cannot do it justice on paper, but the fact that people are paying homage to the show via fancy dress just proves how epic and unforgettably mental it is.
