The This Country star looked hugely different back in 2007.

We all have really cringey photos from our early years (anyone else remember pouting and pointing at the camera in their teens?) - but Daisy May Cooper may have topped all our more embarrassing efforts.

The comedy queen, 34, took to Instagram to share a photo of herself from 2007 - and it really is quite the throwback.

The This Country star boasted patchy white foundation, pale pink lips and bright blonde hair extensions - all paired with thick black eyeshadow as she posed alongside a friend.

Daisy invited her 664,000 Instagram followers to laugh along with her at the photo captioning the snap: "If anyone's having a bad Monday just remember that in 2007 I used to go out looking like this and thought I was hot as f***.

"Matted hair extensions and white foundation on point. Also around the time I auditioned to be a stripper."

The photo saw a number of Daisy's celebrity fans reach out, with presenter Rylan Clark-Neal commenting: "We've all been there."

Loose Women panellist Kate Thornton said: "In the words of Louis Walsh...'you look like a young Vanessa Feltz.'"

Another fan wrote: "This has made my morning. The days of mattered extensions and dream matte mousse foundation. What a time! You've literally made my lockdown again this time round. So bloody hilarious!"

This is not the first time Daisy has used her Instagram to keep us smiling throughout the coronavirus pandemic.

Daisy has also brought back This Country character Kerry (

The comedian performed in character as Kerry Mucklowe as she sung a very unique take on a Christmas song, inspired by lockdown.

Her own take on festive classic 'A Partridge in a Pear Tree' included: "Four calling birds, three French hens, two turtle doves and some poor b******s in Tier 3."

While Daisy has drawn a line under This Country, she has brought back Kerry for a one-off special event for charity, seeing her raise £10,000 by selling personal videos.
