Victoria Beckham has undergone a skin laser treatment which she's been told will stop her ageing.

The Spice Girl may have first risen to fame as Posh Spice, but she's since carved out a career as a fashion designer and become the owner of her own beauty label too.

Her make-up powers have even seen her accused of having a nose job, however, in a recent Instagram video, the 49-year-old revealed she's recently undergone a skin treatment which relies on a bit more than just some heavy contouring.

Beckham took to Instagram to share a video of herself and Dr Ghavami who she went to for the laser treatment - which costs an average of $2,509 (£2,021) for ablative (removes outer thin layer of skin) and $1,445 (£1,164) for non-ablative (doesn't remove outer layer of skin), as per the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.

The caption reads: "Our skin is our largest organ, so it’s important we take as much care of it as possible!

"Earlier this week I had an incredible laser treatment with @DrGhavami @GPSAesthetics, and I’m back with him today to learn more about keeping my skin healthy, nourished and radiant."

In the video, Dr Ghavami claims the laser treatment is not only 'turning the clock back' but is 'stopping it [the ageing process] now'.

"So you're literally not going to age anymore and you're set," he tells Beckham.

Beckham responds by turning to the camera and saying: "How good does that sound? I mean wow."

Unfortunately, not everyone agrees.

One Twitter user is certainly having none of it, taking to the platform to accusing Beckham of setting a 'pathetic example' by flaunting her 'privileged wealth' - later in the video, Beckham promoting her own beauty products she used after undergoing the laser treatment.

The user continues: "Her fashion is uninspired, overpriced & she was going bankrupt but people w MILLIONS OF WEALTH connections will always be bailed out….Why is this being shoving her #insecurity to public HORRIBLE ROLE MODEL FOR YOUTH….#PATHETIC."

"Ffs.. Just age gracefully.. You'll look far better if you refrain from such treatments.."

A third resolved: "Victoria Beckham is told she's 'not going to age anymore' with laser skin treatment.

"What a load of rubbish so you’ll get no wrinkles on face but your neck and hands will give your age away you cannot stop ageing it’s life’s natural progression."
