A Taylor Swift superfan battling colon cancer managed to see the musician in concert just weeks before she died.

Holly Seay, 28, fulfilled her dream to see the 'All Too Well' singer live during the North American leg of Swift's Eras tour in April.

Holly, who had been living with cystic fibrosis since she was very young and was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2020, was in the adoring crowd gathered at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia to sing along to Swift's most famous hits on 29 April this year.

A video of Holly in a wheelchair singing along to 'Miss Americana & The Heartbreak Prince' was posted to TikTok by one of her closest friends last week.

Bianca Clark commemorated her friend after she passed away on 26 June, taking to the video platform to share her memories of the concert.

In the caption, Bianca revealed that seeing Swift perform was on Holly's bucket list and she was determined to go 'even if she had to drive straight from the hospital'.

"Monday morning my best friend went to Heaven," Bianca wrote.

"She'd been in and out of the hospital for years but especially over the last few months. The one thing she told all of her doctors was that she WILL be going to see Taylor Swift even if she has to drive straight from the hospital.

"They released her 24 hours in advance for her to be able to go to the ATL night 2 show. Thank you @Taylor Swift for bringing our girl so much happiness.

"This was the first time in years we saw her face filled with so much joy and her be the dancing queen she always was."

In a further comment, Bianca then explained that Holly attended with her and another friend, as well as her mum and 'one of her favourite nurses'.

"They recorded so many sweet moments that we've all looked back on countless times," she wrote.

And the video of Holly's infectious happiness at the gig has touched many fans, with one person writing: "How special that you got to share this experience with her.

"Sending all my love to you and everyone else who loved Holly so dearly."

While another user wrote: "I'm glad she was able to see Taylor and have a great night and memory with you, love seeing her happy and smiling."

Holly's obituary described her as a 'beautiful person with a sassy and infectious personality who will be missed by all'.
