Tara Reid has shared a sad explanation as to why she's never got married or had children.
The American Pie star revealed her belief that her acting career would have been 'bigger' if she had decided to settled down and have a baby.

The 47-year-old opened up about her 'party girl' persona and how that affected certain professional prospects for her in the biz.
Speaking to Mr Warburton Magazine, Reid said: "I’m not married, I don’t have kids … and I think, in Hollywood, if you don’t have kids or you’re not married, you’re judged."
The star continued: "So they still think you’re that party girl from 40 years ago.

"But all of a sudden, if you have a kid and you get married, 'Oh she grew up, she’s great'."
Reid, who also played Bunny Lebowski in The Big Lebowski, added that she has not been able to distance herself from her 'bad girl' persona because of the lifestyle choices she made.
"What if you can’t have kids or what if you don’t want to get married?" she asked. "You can’t judge people on that anymore. And it’s the one thing that I think is really unfair about our society."
And it's not just Reid who has spoken out about the extremely heavy societal pressures of motherhood as fellow Hollywood A-listers like Chelsea Handler and Jennifer Aniston have also addressed the systemic issue.

"If it’s meant to happen, it will happen but you can’t keep dragging people’s face in it. Like get over it, there are other things to talk about," she carried on.
"I think people need to leave privacy alone when it comes to that degree of personal stuff."
Reid, who has dubbed herself the 'godmother of partying', pretty much ruled the golden clubbing era from the late-90s to the early 2000s.

However, she was later dubbed as nothing else but a surgery-obsessed party animal and it became an unfair reputation that just stuck.
"I was the first one that kind of started this image, but the difference with me is that I never did sex tapes, I never did anything wrong," she explained. "I never even got a speeding ticket."
The actor claimed she 'got punished' by the press and paparazzi for 'popping bottles and having a great time' which later led to her taking a step back from the limelight.

Reid recalled: "I was just on an attack.
"Anything I did was on tape, it was pretty awful. And that’s why I left. It wasn’t because I was just a girl, it was because I was an easy target."
Reid has since revealed she's 'never been happier' with a brand-new acting project on the horizon.
She's set to star in the exciting new comedy series Walking In LA with the official synopsis reading: "Walking in LA follows the feel-good redemption story of magical-thinking protagonist Lucy who, fired from her dream job and dumped by her fiancé, moves on a whim to the City of Angels in search of something better."
