Sydney Sweeney 'unfollowed' by Glen Powell's girlfriend Gigi Paris after video of them together goes viral

Sydney Sweeney 'unfollowed' by Glen Powell's girlfriend Gigi Paris after video of them together goes viral

Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell having been working on an upcoming movie together in Australia

In an unexpected twist in the celebrity world of romantic movie actors, Sydney Sweeney appears to be in hot water with co-star Glen Powell’s model girlfriend, Gigi Paris.

The bombshell has unfollowed Sweeney on Instagram after an innocuous video went viral of the co-stars in a tricky position.

The video circulating the web shows the pair on a sofa with Powell supporting Sweeney's lower back as she performs a backbend to the floor, stretched across his legs. Another clip of them filming a passionate scene on an Australian beach was also revealed on Twitter:

The Euphoria star and heart-throb Top Gun: Maverick actor are currently filming an untitled romantic comedy film in Australia together, which is being directed by Will Gluck.

While it's clear the pair are just really good friends and work well together, the internet doesn't seem to think so... and perhaps neither does Powell's girlfriend.

As reported by Page Six, Paris used to follow Sweeney on Instagram and the model even once commented on one of her posts, congratulating her on her upcoming role with Powell.

But some have now speculated that Paris has unfollowed Sweeney on the social media platform because of the chance that the co-stars are fraternising behind her back - which has not at all been confirmed and is most likely just an internet rumour.

This comes after Sweeney posted some sweet pictures of her and Powell during their time in the land down under.

The photographs include the pair visiting an Aussie zoo with assumed cast-mates and a cosy snap of the two smiling on what appears to be an open-top bus.

Of course, the snaps sent fans into meltdown, with one commenter writing under the photo: "NEW SHIP.”

Now, people are wondering whether the ship has sailed or whether this is cannon, as another user wrote: "You and glen r literally the cutest."

However, not everyone is on board and some were quick to shut down speculation.

One Twitter user wrote: "This man has chemistry with EVERYONE."

Others believe that this is simply for PR, commenting: "Marketing gimmick as old as time.”

Another level-headed Instagram user concluded that: "Looks like a lot of fun. Still don't understand why people can't believe, that there can also be just a deep friendship between men and Women, sorry but I believe in some kind of these things.

"And in this Job you need to click with the people you are working with over weeks and month. They are both in a relationship but still independant doing their job.

"Why people always needs to gossip and start rumors. I will never get that part."

The pair have been caught up in ridiculous dating rumours.

The untitled upcoming movie is reported as being a Sony Pictures Project, and by the look of the co-star’s chemistry, fans simply cannot wait.

With a fantastic cast such as Law & Order: Special Victims Unit's Michelle Hurd, The Wedding Date's Dermot Mulroney, Aaliyah: The Princess of R&B's Alexandra Shipp and Muriel's Wedding's Rachel Griffiths, it’s clear that Sweeney and Powell aren’t the only stars in the film.

Though no one can disclose what the plot of the movie is, we can only guess that it’ll be enough to keep the romantics keen.
