Spencer Matthews has joined his best bud Jamie Laing in Spain after his accidental snub from their London ceremony.

Despite being friends for over a decade and appearing on Made In Chelsea together, Matthews was left off the guest list when his former co-star tied the knot.

Having gotten his wires crossed, Laing has since apologised and even admitted he even reached out to Matthews’ wife Vogue to repair the friendship.

Last month, Laing even invited Matthews on to his podcast, NearlyWeds, to explain what exactly went down before the civil ceremony in London.

In fact, the McVities heir blamed hectic wedding prep for the accidental snub – despite his podcast being dedicated to that very topic.

He confessed: “Amongst the hectic-ness of getting people there and things like that, I thought Spencer and Vogue were away. Spencer got upset, which is fair enough.”

The 34-year-old was so concerned about their friends, that he looked to Matthews’ wife for some help.

“So I sent Vogue a message hoping to get a bit of support and then she replied, ‘To be honest Jamie, it’s not good’. And I was like, ‘F**k’,” he admitted.

Whilst the pair have now buried the hatchet, Matthews didn’t mince his words when saying how much the snub had hurt.

“To be honest, Jamie, you’re my best friend in the world. Which is why I think it hurt so much,” he revealed, adding: “If it was anyone else… For your wedding, I would fly three times around the world to come to it because I care about you so much.”

Thankfully, Matthews did get an invite to the second wedding ceremony in sunny Spain and was even part of an adorable post on Laing’s Instagram.

Sharing several snaps of the stunning location and his blushing bride, Sophie Habboo, he wrote: “Calm before the storm…”.

Despite this, fans haven’t quite forgiven the Made in Chelsea star and have teased him constantly in the comments.

“You remembered to invite Spencer then,” joked one fan, with a starry-eyed emoji.

Others also joined in with another adding: “Nice of you to invite Spencer this time.”

However, not everyone will be enjoying the Spanish ceremony, including Matthews’ wife Vogue.

Though she played a pivotal part in their friendship, the model seemingly revealed that she wouldn’t be attending as she wrote: “I’m sooooo jealous”.
