Shania Twain is set to open up and tell all about her husband's infidelity in the her new Netflix documentary Not Just A Girl.
You can check out the trailer here:
The documentary will heavily focus on Twain's monumental career that forever changed the game for country music, featuring interviews from her music peers like Orville Peck, Diplo, Avril Lavigne, and Lionel Richie.
But the 'Man! I Feel Like A Woman' singer will also touch on some of her pitfalls, including her Lyme disease diagnosis in 2003, losing her parents in a tragic car accident, and her divorce.
Shania met her first husband, South African record producer and song writer Robert 'Mutt' Lange, back in June 1993.
While the five-time Grammy winner was beginning to make a name for herself in the music industry, Robert had offered to work with Shania. After sparking a whirlwind romance, the pair were married by that December.
Over the span of her successful career, Robert co-wrote and produced a number of Shania's greatest hits, including 'That Don't Impress Me Much', 'You're Still The One', and 'Man! I Feel Like A Woman.'
The couple were married for 14 years and welcomed their son Eja in August 2001.
However, their marriage came to a rocky end when news broke that Robert had been having an affair with Shania's best friend and secretary Marie-Anne Thiebaud.
Marie-Anne was married to businessmen Frederic Thiebaud at the time.
Both Robert and Marie-Anne attempted to deny cheating allegations at first, Robert and Shania eventually separated in 2008.
Since 2003, Shania had been struggling with dysphonia, a vocal disorder that left her struggling to sing. Following her marital breakdown, the singer confessed that her condition worsened.
"It was similarly intense to losing my parents", she says in the Netflix trailer.
"I thought I had lost my voice forever. I thought that was it."
Rather unexpectedly, the legendary songstress wound up forming a strong bond with Frederic Thiebaud over their ex-partners' betrayals and eventually fell for one another.
The new couple started dating in 2009, were married by 2011, and have been together ever since.
Not Just A Girl will be available to stream on Netflix from 26 July.
