New mum Scarlett Moffatt met policeman boyfriend after making 999 call
The Gogglebox star met her boyfriend in a rather unusual way
Former Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffatt has a lot to celebrate lately, as she has recently gave birth to her first child with partner Scott Dobinson.
On 29 June Jude Xavier Dobinson was welcomed into the world.
Sharing the exciting news on Instagram, Moffatt gushed: "My darling boy I can’t stop crying looking at you as I can’t quite believe you’re mine. You wanted to meet us early at just 35 weeks.

"Me & your daddy love you so much that I can’t even put this feeling into words. Our heart and soul feels complete & ready to burst. I will forever and always be grateful to be your mammy.
"I Can’t thank @scottdobby enough & to the midwife’s Helen & Charlotte & all of the NHS team at Durham Hospital.
"You will all forever hold a special place in my heart for looking after us all with such compassion. Let the baby bubble commence."
The heartfelt statement accompanied an adorable photo of Moffatt holding Jude on her chest, with Dobinson smiling in the background.
The pair have known each other for fifteen years, but have been dating since 2018 - with a brief split in 2021.
The 32-year-old reality star first met the future father of her child when she called the police over an unscrupulous character taking photos in her front garden.
When Dobinson turned up at her house, Moffatt was instantly smitten.
Recalling their first meeting, the former I'm A Celeb winner told The Mirror: "Scott came to the house. My friend was in the house with me at the time and I was like, 'He's so fit, I really fancy him'.
"She said, 'Why don't you just comment on a picture on Facebook?' So I commented on a picture of him and his dog Toby and put, 'Ah, cute... and the dog'."
But when Dobinson asked her out on a date, their first outing didn't go to plan.
Moffatt explained: "Everything that could have gone wrong went wrong.
"The place we were going to eat at wasn't open and he made a joke about taking me to McDonald's which I didn't know was a joke.
"He told me I reminded him of Albert Einstein, so I was like, ‘Nah, I think we’re just best as friends’."
She added: "It was my mam that went, ‘I’ve got a good feeling, I think you should give him another chance’ - so I’m pleased she did.
"With Scott, obviously I fancy him, but he’s just a lovely person. It’s taken me a while to get used to not having drama."

Regardless of their ups and downs, the couple have stayed strong and now started a family together.
