S Club 7 announce 25th anniversary reunion tour

The group are set to perform 11 shows to celebrate 25 years of S Club 7

There really ain't no party like an S Club party, but the good news is the group is getting back together with a reunion tour to celebrate their 25th anniversary!

The news might transport you right back to the millennium, or it might make you feel ancient. Either way, belting out a rendition of 'Reach' or 'Don't Stop Movin'' is sure to make you feel better.

S Club 7 shared the exciting news of the reunion last night (13 February), when the group gathered on BBC's The One Show to talk about how they'd be travelling across the UK and Ireland to put on 11 performances as part of the S Club 7 Reunited tour.

"After eight years it feels amazing to announce that we're reuniting and performing together again," the group said.

"We're so excited to bring the S Club Party back to our fans across the country to celebrate 25 years of S Club 7. We can't even believe it's been so long!

"Music and friendship have always been at the core of everything that we've ever done. We hope everyone can join us for one big party!"

Fans have been left overwhelmed with the news of the band getting back together, with one fan responding: "My 10-year-old self is SCREAMING!!!!!," while another wrote: "Always been the biggest fan since I was 5 years old. I cannot wait to come to see you all in tour and live my best 90s life."

Fans have been begging the group to visit the US.

After announcing the tour, Bradley McIntosh promised the group would be 'bringing the nostalgia', adding: "In today's time we need a bit of positive."

Rachel Stevens also hinted that the group would be drawing on some iconic 90s fashion for the gigs, saying there will be 'little bits' they'll take from the style of the time.

Meanwhile, Paul Cattermole encouraged fans to help the group put a set list together, saying: "We would like our fans to let us know what sort of songs they want to hear."

The tour will kick off on 13 October as members Bradley McIntosh, Paul Cattermore, Rachel Stevens, Hannah Spearritt, Jo O’Meara, Jon Lee, and Tina Barrett appear at Liverpool’s M&S Bank Arena, before moving to Dublin, Glasgow, Cardiff, Manchester and more.

It will come to an end at London’s The O2 on 28 October, with tickets for the event going on sale on Friday (17 February), so don't miss out on living your 90s dream!
