Rihanna Shares Pregnancy Update After Upsetting Fans With Previous Social Media Posts
Rihanna is finally sharing more about her pregnancy.
Rihanna has surprised her fans with another adorable glimpse of her growing baby bump after leaving them disappointed following her pregnancy announcement.
The We Found Love singer, 33, debuted her baby bump in a casual photoshoot on Monday, alongside boyfriend and rapper A$AP Rocky in Harlem, New York City.
The mum-to-be and billionaire makeup mogul received an outpouring of messages and well wishes after the pictures were released online and effectively broke the internet, however her first social media post after the news broke was not what fans expected.
On Tuesday, Rihanna updated her social media pages with a Fenty Beauty advert announcing her new lipstick collection. But her Navy were on the edge of their seats waiting for more maternity snaps.
One fan asked: “Why are [you] posting an ad????”
Another follower joked: “i too would not directly address my pregnancy and just drop pics of myself instead.”
While a third responded to the lipstick advert with: “We just gonna skip over the fact that you’re with child? okay…”
Rihanna has now posted an intimate bathroom picture which shows the fashion icon lifting up her orange and blue jersey to show her ever-growing baby bump. She paired the jersey with orange leather gloves.
RiRi uploaded the new picture alongside the previously released pictures, which have already served as inspiration for social media influencers already.
The now iconic pregnancy shoot shows Rihanna wearing a vintage Chanel long pink puffer coat from the Fall/Winter 1996 collection with her stomach exposed and adorned with chains.
The coat is paired with extra-long ripped jeans which completely cover her shoes.
A$AP Rocky wore leather trousers, a Carhartt denim jacket paired with a denim varsity jacket and black beanie and is picture lovingly kissing Rihanna’s forehead and cradling her bump in another snap.The couple started dating publicly in November 2020 after months of speculation following her split from Hassan Jameel.
In a May 2021 interview with GQ, Rocky opened up their relationship and called Rihanna the One. "She amounts to probably, like, a million of the other ones,” he said.
