Olivia Attwood has broken her silence following reports that she left the I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! jungle on Monday (7 November).
Taking to Instagram, Olivia's loved ones wrote on her behalf: "To say Olivia is heartbroken would be an understatement, she dreamed of doing I'm a Celeb for years, and was absolutely loving every second of the show and throwing herself into jungle life feet first (just as we knew she would).
"However, for reasons beyond her control her journey has been cut short.
"Your support and kind words have meant the world to her now as much as it always has.
"You will hear the truth from Olivia in due course and she will be back on your screens in the New Year."
They added: "PS. Who's going to roast Matt Hancock now?"
The Love Island finalist said farewell to the camp after spending just a day in the Australian jungle.
The 31-year-old had to withdraw from the reality programme on medical grounds and she's now on her way home in the UK.
"Olivia was involved in a medical drama overnight," an insider told The Sun on Monday.
"She really wanted to go back into the camp but medics won't let her."
The unfortunate news comes after reality TV fans saw Olivia make history as the first former Islander to make their way into the jungle in the opening episode last night (6 November).
She was voted the jungle VIP by viewers at home and this saw Olivia have the ability to enjoy her first - and now only - night in the jungle with a meal.
Speaking about her departure from the show today, fiancé Bradley Dack told the Mail Online that he wasn't aware of the reason why Olivia had left, adding that he believed she would be gutted.
"I just saw it in the news, like anyone else," he explained. "She'll be gutted. I think she's fine, but I haven't spoken to her."
One of the highlights from Olivia's short stint in the jungle will probably be jumping out of a plane to begin her adventure.
She said afterwards: "Oh my god I'm crying, that's the most amazing thing I've ever done, ever. That is incredible. Top 10 experience of my life. Just amazing."
I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! continues tonight on ITV at 9pm.
