Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield have been booed as they won at the National Television Awards.

The pair headed onto the stage with the rest of the This Morning cast as they won the Best Daytime show award on 13 October.

However, the group were met with sounds of 'booing' from the crowd as they went to collect their award, to which Holly reminded viewers that they actually voted the show to win.

Ricky Gervais has been left 'genuinely shocked' by his win for After Life at the National Television Awards.

The show picked up the award for best Comedy at the event, where the comedian gave a brief speech before adding, 'my feet are killing me'.

We feel you, Ricky!

The Lionesses have taken to the stage at the NTAs to present the best Returning Drama.

Fans are excited about the football-entertainment crossover, with Grace asking on Twitter: "nahhh they’ve got the lionesses there??"

"Omg not Millie, leah and Jill on #NTA’s," Kate added.

Gemma Owen and her dad Michael Owen have taken to the stage at the NTAs to present the award for the best Serial Drama Performance.

And fans are creasing at the way the pair presented together.

"Whoever wrote that little nugget of 24 carat bantz for Michael and Gemma Owen on the #NTAs deserves a pay rise. Liquid broadcasting," Alex Miller tweeted.

"Not Gemma Owen not knowing she needed to open the envelope," Emma added.

Anton Du Beke has won best Talent Show Judge at the NTAs this evening.

He had a lot of 'love' for his co-stars and production members, sharing his appreciation for them during his speech.

Everyone's favourite finance expert, Martin Lewis, has scooped up the award for best Expert at the National Television Awards.

"We need somebody to get a grip on the economy," he said at the event of the future of finance in the UK.

However, he added that he would be starting work on that front from next week.

"Tonight, this nerd is going to party."

Trigger Point has won Best New Drama at the NTAs.

I'm A Celebrity has scooped up the first award at the NTAs this evening.

Holly Willoughby has headed onto the red carpet at the NTAs on her own without her This Morning co-star Philip Schofield.

Her on-screen other half is yet to arrive.
