Nicole Kidman wows fans as she shows off her insanely ripped body

Nicole Kidman has been hitting the gym and she's stunned fans by showing off her incredibly ripped body.

The actress, 55, displayed her impressive physique while posing for the cover of Perfect Magazine, donning a red-haired wig and revealing outfit for the occasion.

Hair styled in two different lengths, the Moulin Rouge! star flexed her muscles as she wore a colourful top and wraparound skirt from Diesel.

The cover comes after the magazine gave the 55-year-old a Perfect Icon award in celebration of her achievements.

Perfect said: "At a time when the validity of awards ceremonies is in question, and the red-carpet spectacle of presentations is dominated by the awarding bodies and the presenters, we wanted to shift the focus back on those who we think deserve to be rewarded."

The cover comes after Kidman was recently slammed for bearing her torso on the cover of Vanity Fair, something critics slammed as 'inappropriate' for a woman her age.

However, the actor didn't miss a beat when it came to defending herself.

She admitted, however, that she did reconsider wear the revealing outfit, despite initially 'begging' to wear it for the occasion.

"I was like, 'No, no, I like this one! Am I allowed to wear that?'" she said. "Katie was like, 'You're willing to wear that?!' And I said, 'Wear it?! I'm begging you to wear it!'"

She explained: "I did walk away thinking, 'What was I thinking?! That was ridiculous! What were you doing, Nicole?!' And then I went, 'Eh, oh well!'

"Cause you know that part about me where I'm like, 'I'm just going to do what I want to do, ultimately,' and just have some fun.

"And just commit, like really commit when I show up, do it. But there's got to be some fun.

"And sometimes it's going to work, and sometimes it isn't. But I love the idea of being bold and not fitting into a box."

Kidman went on to share more images from her Perfect Magazine shoot on Instagram and fans were quick to praise the 55-year-old's modelling skills.

One fan gushed: "You are always stunning."

"You are the perfect human inside and out," wrote a second.

"Fantastic," added a third, while a fourth remarked: "Queen."

The actor will next be on the big screen in 2023 in the Aquaman sequel, where she will reprise her role as Atlanna, the Queen of Atlantis.
