Molly-Mae Hague Welcomes New Pet After Tragic Death Of Puppy

She’s got a gorgeous new addition to her family…

Congratulations are in order for Molly-Mae Hague: the influencer has got a brand new pet.

The 22-year-old debuted the new addition to her household on Instagram.

On her latest Story, the Love Island runner-up shared her adorable grey cat lazily sleeping on Molly-Mae’s workout gear, as she got ready for another busy day.

Captioning the post from the cat’s point of view, Molly-Mae wrote: “If I lie on her stuff then maybe she’ll stay home and rub my belly.”

The gorgeous grey puss is the first pet Molly-Mae and her boyfriend Tommy Fury have owned since the tragic death of their puppy, Mr Chai.

In May 2020, Molly received the Pomeranian puppy after he was imported from Russia.

However, just days after the pup arrived in the UK, the puppy fell ill and died shortly after suffering from a seizure.

Reflecting on the decision to import the pet from abroad, Molly-Mae told The Sun: “If we had our chance again, we wouldn’t have imported from Russia.

“The autopsy results showed that his skull wasn’t fully developed and he didn’t have a white blood cell left in his body.

“If we had the time again, we’d have a dog from the UK.”

In another emotional YouTube video where they discussed the tragic death of Mr Chai, Molly explained: “Tommy literally threw up everywhere, and I just kept saying like: ‘It’s a prank.’ We get prank-called all the time and some sick person has found out Chai’s gone to the vet. It’s a prank, ‘No, your dog has died.’

“We’re not asking for any kind of sympathy. What’s happened is awful. I’m asking you to understand that the dog travelling from Russia is not the reason he died.”

Molly-Mae recently moved to a brand new Manchester apartment after her last home was robbed of over £800,000 worth of goods.
