Molly-Mae Hague breaks down in tears over Tommy Fury fight

The Love Islander struggled to watch the brutal bout and cried when her sister, Zoe, broke the news that Fury had won

Molly-Mae Hague broke down as she watched her boyfriend Tommy Fury win his highly anticipated fight against Jake Paul last night (26 February), with her sister capturing the moment on camera.

The couple originally met on Love Island in 2019 and recently welcome their first child, Bambi, earlier this year.

The birth of Bambi four weeks ago meant the reality star was unable to attend the fight in Saudi Arabia and had to watch from home instead.

Understandably, Molly struggled to watch the brutal bout and was seen crying when her sister, Zoe, broke the news that the boxer had won:

Cuddling her newborn daughter, the influencer was soon joined by fellow islander Maura Higgins, who’d been watching the fight downstairs with friends.

The group screamed with joy as they celebrated the fight, which saw Fury win the grudge match against former YouTuber and MMA fighter Jake Paul.

Fury later dedicated the win to his long-term girlfriend and their baby, telling the spectators: “I want to dedicate this fight to my new baby girl Bambi at home and my Mrs, I love you. I can’t wait to see you.

"This fight was for you. It’s for you Bambi, I love you".

Molly Mae said she'd never doubted her boyfriend.

His victory came after Paul was knocked down in the final round, with the referee making a split decision.

Although it looked like the former Love Island contestant might lose or face a draw, Molly told her fans that she’d never doubted her boyfriend in sweet Instagram story.

She then shared another picture of her boyfriend, at home with her and daughter Bambi as she told fans about how much the fight meant to them.

In the caption, she wrote: "The pressure that was on this boy's shoulders... I will never ever know how he dealt with it. Never been more proud of anyone in my life. Get home to us, our champ."

The influencer congratulated her boyfriend on Instagram.

Fury’s win comes after two years of taunting by his long-term rival, Jake Paul.

This included the former YouTuber leaking the news of Bambi’s birth, which had been kept a secret due to the intense media scrutiny.

The MMA fighter had taunted Fury in a tweet, saying ‘no excuses now’ because Fury’s baby had been born.

He faced an intense backlash and later apologised in pre-fight interview and even offer the little girl a gift, telling Fury at a press event: “I apologise actually for leaking your baby’s announcement. I honestly didn’t mean to say that before.

"I just want to say that I didn’t mean to leak that announcement. I’ve actually got a gift for Bambi, this is like a really nice designer baby brand.”
