Love Island's Amy Hart announces pregnancy with boyfriend Sam Rason

She announced the happy news on Loose Women.

Love Island's Amy Hart has announced that she is expecting her first child with boyfriend Sam Rason.

The former air hostess turned reality star, 30, announced the news on Loose Women before posting a montage of the parents-to-be posing with their baby scans.

The couple explained that Amy been quieter on social media as she prepares to welcome her first child, who is due in March of next year.

The happy couple wrote: "Mamma Mia. Here we go…

"So as you may or may not have noticed we’ve been a little less active on here in the last few months, certainly a lot less drunken behaviour on Amy's stories.

"In short, she’s either been asleep or nauseous. Family is so important to both of us, it was a value that bonded us right from the start and we are so excited to become a family of our own in March.

"From a sober 30th, to a sober week long hen do, it's been so hard keeping it a secret but we're so happy we can finally share it all with you!"

The couple went on to reveal that while the pregnancy wasn't planned, they couldn't be happier, adding: "If we’d started trying in January as planned we probably wouldn't have fallen pregnant as we would have been nowhere near the ovulation days!

"We were told earlier this year that if we hadn't fallen pregnant within 6 months of starting trying, it would be straight to IVF. Life has a funny way eh!!"

Amy hilariously revealed on Loose Women that people started to wonder what was wrong when she appeared sober at her 30th birthday party.

So to keep her pregnancy a secret for a little longer, she dramatically drawled along to the ABBA track 'Lay All Your Love On Me'.

She explained that it did the trick, much to the amusement of the hosts.

The couple are thrilled.

When asked if she was planning to find out the sex of the baby, Amy admitted: "No… I do surprises for everyone else and I ruin surprises that are planned for me! So this is the only surprise that I can not ruin…"

Amy previously had her eggs frozen after undergoing a fertility MOT.

She explained that while she fell pregnant naturally, she may still use her frozen eggs down the line.

"I might need them in the future," she said. "It was never about not being able to get pregnant, it was more about the longevity of my egg reserve… If I don't need them, then I'll donate them."
