Lizzo’s fans have come to her defence after she threatened to quit music over cruel comments from trolls.

The Grammy-winner and body positivity advocate recently spoke out about being trolled because of her weight on social media.

She reposted some of the mean-spirited comments about her, including one which read: "How is Lizzo still THIS fat when she’s constantly moving this much on stage?! I wonder what she must be eating."

Lizzo wrote in response: “JUST logged on and the app and this is the type of s**t I see about me on a daily basis It’s really starting to make me hate the world.

“Then someone in the comments said I eat ‘lots of fast food’ I LITERALLY STOPPED EATING FAST FOOD YEARS AGO… I’m tired of explaining myself all the time and I just wanna get on this app w/out seeing my name in some bulls**t.”

Lizzo spoke out against the troll comments she gets daily on social media.

In a follow-up tweet, the ‘About Damn Time’ singer said: “'Y’all don’t know how close I be to giving up on everyone and quitting and enjoying my money and my man on a F*****G FARM…”

Earlier this week, Lizzo’s friend and collaborator SZA took to Twitter to call out the trolling comments.

The ‘Kill Bill’ hit-maker tweeted: “I be wondering where all the virtue signaling, well spoken s**t talking, internet warriors are when someone genuine needs defending. Where the f**k do y’all be at for Lizzo ? Do y’all actually know how to support others or only tear them down.”

SZA came to the defence of her real life bestie, Lizzo.

Fans of Lizzo praised SZA’s comments and urged others to stop spreading mean comments about her.

“Speak on it,” one person tweeted in response. “Lizzo gets so much unnecessary hate for no reason!”

Another fan responded with: “SZA, we right here going to bat for our beloved @lizzo but the reality is, people that are full of hate are always going to be around AND they will go out of their way to make sure they are louder than the love All we can do is show continuous love.”

While a third fan wrote: “The way y’all hate Lizzo for simply being is crazyyyy.”

A fourth commented: “The disrespect and 'jokes' people been making about Lizzo is [for real] disgusting when that woman exudes love and light 24/7 and does nothing to anyone.”
