Kourtney Kardashian has shared that her IVF journey left her suffering symptoms of depression, as she tries for a baby with her partner Travis Barker.
The reality star, 43, has revealed in the latest episode of her family's new Hulu series The Kardashians that she and the Blink-182 drummer, 46, were hoping to grow their family together.
Describing how the medication has affected her hormones, Kourtney told Kris: "The medication put me into a depression. I have everything in the world to be happy about.
"I just feel off and not myself. I'm super moody and hormonal. I'm a lunatic half the time."
After sharing her own pregnancy difficulties with Kourtney, Kris reassured her that everything would work out and encouraged her to keep trying.
She said: "You'll have a beautiful baby, probably a year from now. We'll be sitting right here, and you'll be yelling, 'Get the baby, it's crying'."
Tyla has contacted a fertility expert to see whether symptoms of depression and early menopause are common in IVF patients.
Meanwhile, Kardashian fans were shocked when they first learned of Kourtney and Travis's plans to have a child together, when it was first revealed in the The Kardashians teaser trailer.
Kourtney currently shares Mason, 12, Penelope, nine and seven-year-old Reign with former partner Scott Disick.
Meanwhile, Travis is father to daughter Alabama, 15, and son Landon, 18, with his ex-wife Shanna Moakler.
While Kourtney has not yet officially updated her fans in real-time, some are convinced that she could already be pregnant after Travis shared a photo which had a baby bottle in the background.
Most recently, Kourt and Travis somewhat solidified their romance by getting married without a license in Las Vegas this month.
The wedding took place at A Little White Chapel at 2am, "after an epic night and a little tequila". But since the news was announced, fans have been pointing out that the wedding wasn't legally binding due to the lack of licence.
Having had a whirlwind romance with the pair starting to date in December 2020, Kourtney and Travis have gone from strength to strength - even getting engaged in October last year.
In teaser clips for upcoming episodes of The Kardashians, it looks like fans will get to see the heart-warming moment that Travis proposed to Kourtney. We can't wait to see how it all went down.
