Khloé Kardashian shares why she's 'taking her time' naming her baby son

Khloé Kardashian is 'taking her time' choosing the perfect name for her newborn son.

The 38-year-old reality TV star welcomed her second child, a boy, via surrogate with her ex-partner Tristan Thompson, People Magazine confirmed on Friday (5 August).

Now, a source has told the same publication that the Good American founder is in no rush to choose a moniker for her new arrival.

"She really wanted a baby boy," the insider said.

"Khloé hasn't shared a name yet. She is taking her time with the name. She wants it to be just right."

Last month is was confirmed that Khloé and Tristan, 31, were expecting their second child together who was conceived in November 2021.

Together they are parents to their four-year-old daughter True Thompson.

The Chicago Bulls basketball player is also the father of Prince, five, with his ex Jordan Craig and an eight-month-old son, Theo, with Maralee Nichols.

Fitness model Maralee Nichols announced she had given birth to Tristan's third child, in December 2021 after it emerged he had a sexual encounter with Maralee during his 30th birthday celebrations in March.

In January 2022, Tristan publicly apologised to Khloé after a paternity test proved he had fathered a child with Maralee.

The fallout from Khloé and her family discovering the paternity lawsuit between Tristan and Maralee in episodes of their reality series The Kardashians.

Tristan and Khloé have had an on-off relationship since they first started dating in 2016, with their relationship rocked by numerous cheating scandals.

Just days prior to Khloé giving birth to True in 2018, a number of videos were released which appeared to show Tristan kissing a woman at a rooftop bar.

Another photo was released which showed Tristan following her to a hotel room.

While the pair reconciled, they split in February 2019 after it was alleged that Tristan was seen kissing Kylie Jenner’s former friend Jordyn Woods at a party.

However, in July 2020, Khloé was ready to give the relationship with Tristan another try and Tristan featured on Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

Khloé might have been inspired to ensure she finds the right name for her son by her youngest sister Kylie Jenner.

The 24-year-old Kylie Cosmetics founder also welcomed her second child, also a son, in February this year and she initially introduced him to the world as Wolf Webster and the birth certificate confirmed his middle name was Jacques.

In March, Kylie shared that her second child with Travis Scott would no longer be named Wolf however the couple have yet to publicly confirm his new moniker.
