Julia Fox defends decision to allow son to still sleep in the same bed as her

Julia Fox defends decision to allow son to still sleep in the same bed as her

Julia and her two-year-old are 'co-sleepers'.

Julia Fox is quickly becoming the internet's favourite celebrity - especially after her latest TikTok video, where she gave fans a tour of her New York apartment.

During the tour, the Uncut Gems star admitted that her two-year-old son sleeps in her bed with her.

Julia, 32, decided to give her fans a glimpse at her relatively normal - and noticeably messy - apartment, because she believes in 'full transparency'.

Before she got into it, she told followers: "I know I’m going to get roasted and whatever, but hopefully, maybe someone can watch this and be like, ‘OK, well maybe I’m not doing so bad'."

She then brought viewers to the living room, which she had converted into her bedroom, and had also been taken over by her son Valentino as his playroom.

Julia shares Valentino with her ex-boyfriend Peter Artemiev.

After a quick pitstop in her 'little bathroom' and 'really messy' kitchen, she brought fans to see Valentino's adorable bedroom.

“I put the most effort into this room, I think,” she said, showing off the piles of toys and the lofted bed set, “I really wanted him to have a cute room."

She continued: "However, he does not hang out in here at all. He only wants to be in mama’s room.

“He, like, doesn’t even sleep in there. He sleeps in bed with me. Yeah, we’re co-sleepers. Sue me, I don’t care."

Some might have expected the internet's favourite celebrity to have a more luxurious living situation, but Julia explained that she's just not about that life.

"For me, personally, I just, I don’t like excessive displays of wealth. They make me feel icky," she told fans.

"You know, especially people that have really big houses, it’s just really wasteful when there’s so many homeless people in this country. And I'm just not really like that."

Julia was even happy to admit that she's experiencing a 'small mouse problem', before adding that it's only a problem 'depending on how you look at it.'

She shared: "I appreciate that they, at night while we're sleeping, come out and clean up the crumbs that my son drops on the floor."

As if pop culture obsessives weren't already head over heels for Julia, they're now even more in love.

"I love this. It’s refreshing, I feel like most wealthy people get so far removed from real life," commented one fan.

"Thanks for this! Your reasoning behind it is beautiful," added a second.

"You're so real with your living situation," wrote a third.

All I need to know is, did Kanye see this apartment?
