Jennifer Lopez shares secret to looking so young without Botox
The singer said she prefers to keep things natural
Jennifer Lopez says she’s never had Botox and uses a much simpler beauty regime to keep herself looking young.
Although you’d ever be able to tell by looking, the singer and actor celebrated her 53rd birthday this year. You can see her showing off her glowing skin and routine here:
Her smooth skin and youthful looks might have you thinking that she’s partial to a bit of Botox - or she’s been sipping at the Fountain of Youth - but Lopez says she’s never felt the need to have her face frozen with injections.

Speaking in 2020, she said: “I haven't ever had Botox to this day. I'm not that person.
“I don't have anything against people doing that; it's just not my thing. I'm more about a natural approach to skincare.”
She added: “I want the things that are going to help, because I don’t want to have to go to the needles at some point. I’m not saying one day I won’t, but I haven't yet."
Instead, Lopez claims her own line of skincare - JLo Beauty - is behind her enviable visage.
In a clip uploaded to her Instagram back in April, Lopez revealed the simple routine she follows to get her glowing skin.
In the video she explains that she cleanses her face with own brand of cleanser before following up with the serum that uses day and night.
Talking about the serum as she applied it, she said: “Vitamins for the face. I like to think of it like taking my vitamins first thing in the morning.”
After allowing the serum to soak into her skin and giving her ‘that JLo glow’.
She follows up with sunscreen - something any dermatologist will tell you is a year-round essential.
She explained: “Sunscreen is really important - it’s been one of my beauty secrets since my late teens, early twenties. Your mum puts it on you when you're a baby to protect skin from the sun and I continued that into adulthood and it was a game changer. I wore protection every day - even if some days weren’t sunny in New York when I was growing up.”
She finishes her morning routine with a dad of eye cream, under and around her eyes and between her eyebrows.
She also recites positive affirmations to herself, which I’ve always personally been a bit skeptical about but if I can look half as good as JLo in my 50s I’m more than happy to give it a go.
