Heidi Klum wears most bizarre Halloween costume to date as she becomes massive worm

People have been left in awe of Heidi Klum's 2022 Halloween outfit.

Year after year, Heidi Klum pulls it out the bag every spooky season.

Channeling her inner Jim Carrey - who spent eight-and-a-half hours transforming into the Grinch - Klum often goes all out to turn into the most realistic and terrifying Halloween characters ever.

From Betty Boop in 2002, a crow in 2009, arriving on a horse as Lady Godiva in 2001, to Cleopatra in 2012, and clones in 2016, Klum always pulls out all the stops.

Fans of the supermodel and American's Got Talent judge are - once again - crowning her 'the Queen of Halloween'.

If you thought nothing could be as iconic as Klum's 2011 skinless human body, ape outfit in the same year, 2013 butterfly costume, Jessica Rabbit dress in 2015 or Princess Fiona fit in 2018, then think again.

While Klum's previous outfits have mostly centred on being as all-out and bold as possible, this year's also focuses on being the stuff of nightmares.

Think big, think slimey, think of creatures out of Doctor Who or James and the Giant Peach.

Klum teased followers in the build-up to 31 October with glimpses of different parts of her slithery, slippery costume.

She's also since posted a video of her getting fitted into the worm suit, wriggling around on the floor and shaking her tail.

If it wasn't Halloween, who's to say the supermodel wasn't just getting fitted to launch herself down a catwalk?

While she wouldn't have looked amiss in Balenciaga's mud fashion show, Klum was actually all dressed up for a Halloween Party held in New York.

Klum called the worm outfit her 'craziest one yet' and many of her followers completely agreed.

One said: "Happy Halloween! Oh my God! You are so brave! I feel claustrophobic just looking at this!"

Another didn't quite get the memo: "I thought it was a Döner-Kebab."

A third asked the question we're all thinking: "What happens if you gotta pee?"

"She really was like would u still love me if i was a worm?" another joked.

A final resolved: "Heidi is undoubtedly the QUEEN OF HALLOWEEN."

It's hard to think what could possibly be left for Klum to dress up as for next year's spooky season, but it's fair to say she will likely pull it out the bag once again.

Perhaps another creepy crawly like a centipede or ant? Only 364 days left to wait and see.
