Heidi Klum Absolutely Wins At Halloween With This Terrifying Outfit

The 46-year-old supermodel is known for her elaborate and spookily great costumes, having previously dressed as the werewolf from Michael Jackson's Thriller video and Princess Fiona from Shrek.

And she did not disappoint this year as she arrived at Cathédrale in New York sporting a truly horrifying and awe-inspiring bodysuit.

The costume, laced with metal bolts, scars and purple veins, took a whopping 13 hours to get into, and looks like a cross between an alien and Frankenstein's monster.

Heidi hired a whole dedicated team of makeup artists to help her get ready and had prosthetics fitters on hand, too.

Her outfit featured exposed organs, a brain in a glass dome on her head, tubes coming out of her breasts, bare flesh exposed and a machine poking out of her back and nether-regions.

And the best part? A live audience were able to watch her getting ready in the window of an Amazon store. We're going to hazard a guess that they didn't stand there for the whole 13 hours, though...

"On the 34th Street store of Amazon, I'm gonna be sitting in the window and people can just come by all day long and just watch the process if they're interested in seeing something like that."

She continued: "I thought it was fun to do a live art installation - that's what I just want to call it, because, for me, it's life art, what they do to me.

"People can hang out there all day and watch or come in the morning and then shop and come back in the afternoon. I'll still be there. Come and watch if you want!"

Ever the exhibitionist, former Project Runway host Heidi turned up at her party in an elaborate vehicle spattered with blood, made from glass and covered in biohazard symbols.

Her husband Tom Kaulitz also got into the spirit, dressed as an astronaut covered in blood.

Heidi's party was attended by a whole string of celebrities from Queer Eye's Jonathan Van Ness and Antoni Porowski to Mariah Carey.

We don't think anybody could ever top this...
