Friends fanatics are obsessed with Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer's response to a rather personal question about their sex lives from an earlier reunion filmed back in 2016.

During the NBC special, host Andy Cohen asks the core cast (minus Matthew Perry) if it's true that they had to sign contracts to say that they wouldn't sleep with each other while the show was filming.

Watch Jen and David's reaction here:

In the video, shared on TikTok by user @rachxf, David can't help but giggle at the question. And while the audience joins in on his laughter, David quietly adds: "Well that was broken."

His comment was loud enough for Jennifer Aniston to hear, though, and she has quite a reaction to it.

Raising her eyebrows and whipping her head around to give him a look, Jen seemed less than pleased with her co-star's admission.

The whole cast quickly brush past the question and move on with the reunion, but fans who have gone back to watch the 2016 special are certain that there's more to the story.

One TikTok user commented: "Jennifer was too stunned to speak."

Another shocked fan wrote: "WHAAAAAA - OKAY HOLD ON-"

While it's possible that any of the core six could have gotten together at one point or another throughout their ten years of filming, Ross and Rachel supporters hope that it was David and Jen who might have broken the supposed "contract.".

"She knows she's GUILTY," joked one viewer.

"WHY ARE PEOPLE NOT TALKING ABOUT THIS?" commented another.

Fans of the sitcom are desperate to see the on-again-off-again couple make it happen in real life after both actors confessed to having a major crush on one another when they started filming back in 1994.

Friends fans are still hoping for an Aniston-Schwimmer romance. (

But Jennifer has since put an end to any rumours of a potential romance with David, insisting that it wasn't going to happen.

“That was bizarre. I could not believe that, actually. Like, really? That’s my brother,” she said after the HBO Max reunion in 2021.

“It just shows you how hopeful people are for fantasies, for dreams to come true.”

If you say so, Jen. But we'll be keeping an eye on these two...
