Congratulations are in order for Criminal Minds star Shemar Moore, who has revealed he’s going to become a dad for the first time at the age of 52.
The star has announced he and partner Jesiree Dizon are set to welcome a baby together, with Shemar admitting his thought his ‘ship might have sailed’ on ever becoming a parent. You can see him and Jesiree reveal the baby’s gender here:
In a clip from an upcoming episode of The Jennifer Hudson Show, Shemar revealed that his pregnant partner is due soon.

He said: "I'm Shemar Moore, 52 and a half years old. My mother is in heaven, right now it'll be the three-year anniversary on February 8.
"And on February 8, I'm going to make one of her dreams come true because, in real life, Shemar Moore is about to be a daddy."
After gushing that he was ‘so excited’ about becoming a dad, Shemar added: "I'm sorry she can't be here.
"I was worried for a while that it was a 'that ship has sailed,' kind of thing but God had my back and things lined up.

"It's going to be the best part of - my life is already pretty grand, but I know whenever God does call my name, once I get this experience, I'll be able to go to heaven whole."
After his the clip of the upcoming show was shared online, Shemar posted a video of him and his partner finding out the gender of their unborn child.
In the video he says: "It's either going to be Legend, little homie, or it's going to be Frankie, little baby girl and I'm about to be a father come February 8, 2023."

Captioning the clip, he wrote: “Mama’s smiling from Heaven … Miracles happen … Here comes the BEST part of my life.”
In the cute clip, a helicopter could be seen flying around releasing pink smoke to confirm that the pair are expecting a baby girl.
After discovering they’re set to welcome a daughter, the delighted couple can be seen hugging and celebrating with their guests.

The post was soon flooded with well-wishes, with one person writing: “Can’t wait for this next chapter of your life! You’re going to be the most amazing Daddy!!! So happy to have been there for your special day. Congratulations to you & @jesiree!”.
Another wrote: “Awwww!!! Congrats, Shemar! You are going to be the best girl dad.”
