Trigger warning: This article discusses baby loss.

Sam Asghari has sent a hopeful message to Britney Spears following the miscarriage of their child.

On Sunday, the expectant parents announced that they had sadly lost their ‘miracle baby early in the pregnancy’.

The pair took to Instagram to inform fans of the sad news, writing: “It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that we have lost our miracle baby early in the pregnancy.

“This is a devastating time for any parent,” they wrote. "Perhaps we should have waited to announce until we were further along, however, we were overly excited to share the good news.”

They continued: “Our love for each other is our strength. We will continue trying to expand our beautiful family. We are grateful for all of your support. We kindly ask for privacy during this difficult moment.”

In the post, which was captioned: “We are grateful for what we have in the process of expanding our beautiful family. Thank you for your support,” Sam took to the comments to support his partner.

“We will have a miracle soon,” the bereaved father commented in support of his other half.

Fans also took to the comments section in support of the couple, with one writing: “Sending love, light and strength to you both.”

“All the love in the world for you Brit,” wrote another.

“OH NO! Britney we stay by your side forever! Love you,” said a different fan.

Someone else commented: “Sending you both so much love.”

Previously, fans were convinced that Britney, 40, and Sam, 28, tied the knot after she gave fans a huge clue on Instagram.

Following their pregnancy announcement in April, onlookers were so sure that they could have secretly gotten married, too.

Well, on a few different times, Britney has referred to Sam as her husband on social media. You can read more on that here.
