Taking to her TikTok, Amy explained that the islanders aren't actually allowed razors in the villa, and have to specifically ask for them when they need to shave.

She said: "One thing you ask me a lot about is shaving in the villa. Now, obviously the showers have got the frosted panel across the middle, you did have to shave in there because obviously you couldn't wait to have a wax or anything.

"I actually prefer shaving my legs because I don't like waiting for them to grow out.

"Also, because razors are classed as weapons, you weren't allowed them in your bag, you had to go and ask for them because they got taken off you when you went in and you had to go and ask for them to get them back."

Amy, 29, also recently opened up on what happens to all the photographs the islanders take on their phones.

When asked if they get to keep the snaps, or if they're sent to them afterwards, Amy said: "No. Sadly you don't get to keep all of the photos.

"Some of them will have been uploaded to the Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts so you can get them from there.

"But everything gets wiped when you leave because your phone gets given to the next Islander who comes in."

In other news, we recently told you how Amy had urged women to get their smears following a cervical biopsy.

The reality star took to her Instagram stories to update her followers on the colposcopy she had in the hospital, which was carried out after a cervical screening found changes to the cells in her cervix.

She is now encouraging women to get their cervical smear tests booked as soon as possible so that any changes to cervical cells and risk of cervical cancer are detected and assessed as early as possible.

You can read more on that here.

Amy appeared on the fifth season of Love Island, where she coupled up with Curtis Pritchard.

The couple enjoyed a happy few weeks together, before the islanders were separated for Casa Amor. After the pair reunited, Curtis broke off the relationship and Amy ended up deciding to leave the villa.
