Alyssa Milano celebrated her 50th birthday by sharing an unfiltered selfie on social media - and her fans are completely charmed to see it.

The Insatiable star celebrated her big day on Monday (19 December) and to mark the occasion, she uploaded a casual snap with no retouching.

The mum-of-two, who boasts over three million followers has not only been showered with birthday wishes, people are also celebrating the beauty of getting older.

"This is 50," she said at the start of her caption. "No filter. No touching up. No make up. I will spend this day, the same as every day. I will move a little, love a lot, be of service, and count my blessings.

She continued by sharing that there's still so much to come and it's 'okay' to look back at her life so far. She said: "There’s still so much to look forward to! And you know what? It’s even been okay to look back where I’ve been, where I came from, how far I’ve come, who came into my life and who stayed.

"Thanks for all of your support and Birthday wishes. Let’s keep going."
