When Aaron Paul and his wife Lauren Parsekian welcomed a little boy into the world seven months ago, they decided to name the tot Casper Emerson Paul.
The Breaking Bad star announced his son’s birth on Instagram, sweetly writing at the time: “So happy you are out in this world you beautiful boy you. I promise to make you proud little guy.”
However, it emerged this week that Paul and Parsekian had filed a petition to legally change their son’s name.

TMZ has reported that the loved-up couple want to call their son Ryden Caspian Paul instead.
What’s more, the Jesse Pinkman actor - whose real surname is actually Sturtevant - wants to make a tweak to his own moniker.
The star settled on the surname Paul for the sake of his acting career, but is now looking to legally change his second name from Sturtevant to Paul.
Legal documents seen by TMZ also reveal his wife Parsekian wants to do the same and officially make her surname Paul.
The famous parents explained they want to ‘conform’ to Paul’s professional name while also keeping the family name ‘consistent’.
The documents also stated that Paul and Parsekian were required to name their child at the hospital, so settled on Casper Emerson Paul.
However, they later came up with a name they preferred, hence changing it legally.
Back in April, Paul spoke about the birth of his son on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and referred to him as Ryden, saying: “His name is Ryden and I love him.”
Ryden is Paul and Parsekian’s second child, with the pair also sharing a four-year-old daughter named Story Annabelle.
Paul sweetly noted that his daughter is ‘madly in love’ with her new brother, adding: “[She] can't squeeze him enough. Like, lays on top of him, suffocates him. It’s her doll.”
The actor also disclosed the extremely special relationship his good friend Bryan Cranston will be sharing with his newborn son.
He shared: “I asked Bryan on his birthday if he would be our baby's godfather.”
After joking that Cranston initially turned down the offer, Paul added: “No, he's very excited, very honoured.”
Paul added of his co-star: “I love the man to death. He's one of my best friends in the world, and, so yeah, it was just a no-brainer.”
