Police are looking for a woman who allegedly walked out of a beauty salon without paying for £450 worth of treatment.

The woman, who apparently called herself Charlotte, had Botox injections and lip filler, but according to salon owner Charlotte Bridges, she left without paying a penny.

Before the treatment was complete, Charlotte had taken a photo of the woman, which has now been shared by police.

Charlotte explains how the customer had booked herself into the Dolly's Aesthetics salon in York on 28 September, at short notice claiming she was getting married in two weeks time.

But after the treatment was complete, she left the salon and returned to her car, claiming her sister was coming in to pay.

But the pair allegedly drove off instead.

“I was in shock. I was just stood there like 'What the hell’s just happened?' I’ve never seen that in my life ever," says Charlotte.

“You don’t expect it in these times for people to even behave like this.”

The woman, who called herself Charlotte, had Botox injections and lip filler and is seen here with numbing cream on her upper lip.

Charlotte even opened the salon late to accommodate the woman, explaining: “She text me saying ‘I’m getting married in the next few weeks, can you get me in quickly.’

“Usually people have to wait weeks. And I thought, 'You know, I’ll do the treatment and I’ll stay late.'

“She came and had her full face done, £450 worth of treatment. She said: ‘I need my botox, I need my fillers, I need my lips doing'."

After the treatment was complete, she told Charlotte her sister would bring her the money as she also wanted to have a treatment, too.

But just before the procedure started, the 'sister' claimed she’d left the cash back in her car and now didn’t want to go ahead with it.

“She came back up to the clinic and said, ‘I forgot my bag, I haven’t got your money. I’m not going to get my treatments done, I’m going to wait until next time'," she explains.

“So I said, ‘No worries, I’ll walk you back down to the car.’ I walked her back down to the car, and the first girl has pulled the car round by the entrance to the car park.

“I went to the car door with the other girl, and then she said, ‘Pass me my bag, I need to pay the woman.’

“She leant in the car and went, ‘No not that bag – that bag’ and then quickly jumped in the car and drove off.”

According to salon owner, Charlotte Bridges, the woman left without paying.

Following the incident, North Yorkshire Police said they had 'identified' the woman, but didn't say if she was being quizzed or had been taken into custody.

A spokesperson said: “The woman then left the premises without paying for the treatments.

“She was with another woman and a small child and they all left the scene in a small black car.

“Officers are asking members of the public to get in touch if they recognise the person in the image as they believe they will have information that could help the investigation.”
