If you’re looking for a new TV show to sink your teeth in to, we may have just the one for you.

Euphoria fans may very well like Yellowjackets, the brand new survival horror that’s part Riverdale and part Lord of the Flies.

You can watch the trailer below.

The series, which stars Juliette Lewis and Christina Ricci among others, plays out on two timelines.

One follows the journey of an all-girls high school soccer team from New Jersey, who were invited to play in a national tournament in Seattle.

When flying over Canada, their plane experiences difficulties and crashes deep into the wilderness.

Very few of the teammates survive, and those who do are forced to hunt and fend for themselves in the bleak environment, where they remained lost for 19 months.

The second timelines follows those who survived the crash 25 years after the fact, and how they’re dealing with the trauma and the secrets they’re hiding about just how they made it through this perilous time.

And trust us – this series is incredibly intense, with graphic sense of gore and violence. Best not to watch while eating your tea.

Yellowjackets has already been renewed for a second season thanks to its popularity, with fans of the series saying they are “obsessed” with the spine-chilling show.

Taking to Twitter, one fan wrote: “Started off watching Yellowjackets thinking it felt a bit Lost-meets-Lord-of-the-Flies but just finished ep8 and am now completely hooked.”

A second agreed: “This show is f***ing amazing.”

“I am obsessed with Yellowjackets,” gushed a third. “The whole cast is amazing.”

“Yellowjackets is weird/unsettling/so good. Christina Ricci & Juliette Lewis are creepy and spellbinding,” agreed a fourth.

And a fifth said: “Why aren’t more people talking about Yellowjackets HOLY GOD IT IS SO GOOD."

The series is airing on Showtime over in America, but is able to watch in the UK on Sky Atlantic and NOW.
