The Woman In The House: Viewers Convinced This 'Clue' Gives Away 'Season 2 Storyline'

Although Netflix's The Woman In The House Across The Street From The Girl In The Window has not (yet) been renewed for a second season, fans are already convinced they know what the storyline will be.

Some viewers were left confused at the ending of the series, which saw Anna board a plane to New York to visit Sloane. A woman sits next to her and in the following scene, Anna wakes up in a vodka-fuelled haze to find the woman is no longer there.

Instead, she finds her dead in the plane toilet. Shocked and alarmed, Anna tells a steward, but when he goes to the toilet to check, the woman is nowhere to be seen.

Assuming she's had one too many, Anna is escorted back to her seat, but once she's sat down, she finds a mirror in the seat next to her, indicating that she hadn't imagined the woman at all.

"Bingo," she says.

Viewers think the scene could be paving the way for a second season, with one fan pointing out on Reddit that the book Anna starts to read on the plane is called Woman on the Cruise which viewers say is a parody of the book, Woman In Cabin 10.

Pointing out the plot of Woman In Cabin 10, fans think they know exactly what a season two could look like.

"So this is a direct parody of the Woman in Cabin 10. Notice she was reading the book Woman on the Cruise," one person wrote.

While another said: "She’s even reading the woman on the cruise which is similar to a real book called the woman in cabin 10 lol."

And a third added: "The book she was reading on the plane was a spoof of the novel 'The Woman in Cabin Ten', which is an homage to 'The Lady Vanishes'.

"The plots centre around a woman disappearing, but the protagonist is the only one who remembers seeing her. The mirror proved that she wasn't crazy and her saying 'bingo' signifies that she will be once again get involved in the murder of a woman."

With the show being such a huge hit on Netflix, many fans believe there'll be a season two - and with such a cliffhanger ending, surely this isn't the last we will see of Anna?!
