The former How I Met Your Mother star plays Michael Lawson, a New York City real estate agent who finds himself new single for the first time in 17 years.

Netflix's logline adds: "Overnight, Michael has to confront two nightmares — losing what he thought was his soulmate and suddenly finding himself a single gay man in his mid-forties in New York City."
One viewer tweeted: “#Uncoupled is suchhh [sic] a good binge-worthy show! I’m committed to watching this entire season tonight. "Best is it’s 30 min episodes, loveable actors, relatable storyline, lighthearted series. The serotonin is flowing @ActuallyNPH”.

Another pleased fan tweeted: “Finally a middle-aged gay romcom! More of this please! I can't wait for season 2!”
Someone even begged for a second season, writing: “#Uncoupled is so good but… Wait a MINUTE… @netflix with that cliffhanger, you better freaking renew it.. so serious.”

I may just be riding the queer euphoria, but #Uncoupled is super good.
I love romcoms. Trashy messy break-up songs. And this is the Sex in the City reboot I actually wanted.
Also, the modern dating world is the best worst thing that ever happened. So like, I get it
So I’ve watched #Uncoupled in one sitting and unabashedly loved it.

NPH’s Michael was of course the focus but they also fleshed out the supporting cast in a very balanced way.
I’m invested in everyone’s story without any one character stealing focus.
Highly recommend.
