Top Boy Season 2 has recently landed on Netflix, and some fans have already binged the entire thing. Those who did so were left in shock at the heartbreaking season finale.
Top Boy originally aired on Channel 4 in 2011, before finding a second life on Netflix.
The crime drama is set in the fictional Summerhouse estate in the London Borough of Hackney. The plot follows a thriving but underground drugs business being run by Dushane (Ashley Walters) and his friend Sully (Kano), who ope to become the richest people on the block.

Season 2's shocking finale saw Jaime (Micheal Ward) at home with his two brothers Aaron (Hope Ikpoku Jr) and Stefan (Araloyin Oshunremi). The trio are shocked to find Sully knocking at the door.
When Jaime opens the door, Sully proceeds to shoot him twice.
This heartbreaking twist has caused many fans to take to social media in shock. One fan tweeted that they had been left speechless by this.
Others have had similar reactions, saying that they too sat in silence for a while after finishing the episode.

Even more users expressed their shock and anger towards the character of Sully, with one user tweeting: "Sully WHAT WAS THE REASON, WHAT WAS THE REASON B*TCH"
Some were left wondering just how long they'll have to wait to see what happens in the aftermath of this shooting: "Man I don’t even know what to do with that ending, they just gonna leave us hanging for another two years?"
Not everyone was quite so shocked and excited by the ending though.
One fan wrote that: "Can’t help but be disappointed with that ending. It feels like it was for shock value and not for the overall story. A mistake writing off a character with so much potential. That said, am I already eagerly awaiting the next season? Yes."
Wither others simply just tweeted: "I'm disappointed #TopBoyNetflix" and "Disappointed with the end of #Topboy #TopBoyNetflix"
Netflix is yet to announce if Top Boy has been renewed for another season, but with the cliffhanger and fan reaction it seems quite likely.
