The popular crime thriller officially came to an end last week, and drew to a close with Ruth Langmore (played by Julia Garner) killed by Camila Elizondro (Veronica Falcón).

The murder takes place after Clare tells Camila that Ruth was behind Javi's death, with Camilla shooting Ruth at the side of the road.

“I’m not sorry,” Ruth tells Camila. “Your son was a murdering b*tch. And now I know where he got it from."

She asks Camila: “Well, are you gonna f*cking do this sh*t or what?” Camila then fires the bullet and the screen fades.

And a third added: "Honestly the only thing I hated is they killed Ruth cuz she was my favourite that's what makes me hate the ending."

A fourth commented: "Don’t think they should have killed Ruth off, that hurt bad."

Others totally disagreed, however, with many feeling that the ending was 'perfect'.

One wrote: "I'm happy with the ending... I love Ruth, but when you kill a member of the cartel, they hunt you down and kill you."

While another said: "People are disappointed with the ending but I thought it was poetic.. it beautifully mirrors many events and plot points that have been explored. Fantastic show."

And a third added: "Ozark what a beauty this show was. Perhaps a perfect ending which was emotional and unexpected."
