Love Island's Millie Court And Mary Bedford Have Identical Tattoos

Love Island stars Millie Court and Mary Bedford have the exact same tattoo, it has now been revealed.

Yep, by complete coincidence, the pair both decided to get lightening bolts etched onto themselves before appearing on the ITV reality show.

Mary, 22, and Millie, 24, didn't know each other before the show, and their matching tatts are a complete coincidence.

Sharing the news during a Q&A session, Mary's family discussed the unexpected twinning moment on social media recently.

"Mary got his tiny lightening bolt before she went in the villa so she always had something to look at and remind herself to stay grounded & that everything is okay & she will be alright no matter what," Mary's family told a fan.

Before adding: “We also found out recently Millie Court got the exact same tattoo but in a different place right before she went in the villa.

“The lightning bolt is the symbol of Love Island 2021 this year".

On their website, tattoo website Skull and Sword explain why people opt for lightening bolt tattoos.

"Done correctly, a lightning bolt can mean power, swiftness and decisiveness," they pen.

"Similar to a thunderbolt (but not the same), lightning represents a split-second moment."

The girls aren't the only ones with tatts in the villa. There's Jake Cornish and Toby Aromolaran, for one. But Liam Reardon - Millie's beau - has perhaps caused the most chatter after revealing his.

The main tattoo sparking interest is of a man in a top hat on his thigh - Frank Sinatra, to be precise.

And it has certainly divided opinion, with some branding the inking "so hot", while others had some more thoughts and feelings.

"I need a picture of Liam’s leg tattoo IMMEDIATELY bc i looked away for a second and all i saw was a gigantic top hat #LoveIsland," one person wrote recently.

While another said: "That Liam is not 21. Even his tattoos look older than he’s claiming to be #LoveIsland".

Above Frank Sinatra, Liam also has another portrait of Muhammed Ali.
