Liam Llewellyn Quits Love Island

Liam Llewellyn has reportedly left the Love Island villa.

In scenes due to air on Friday evening, Liam, 22, can be seen gathering the Islanders around the fire pit to deliver some news.

It's now been reported that Liam has sadly quit the villa, for reasons currently unknown.

According to a source speaking to The Sun: "The reasons behind it are unknown so viewers will be glued to their screens tonight to find out."

In dramatic scenes, Liam can be seen telling the boys: “I think we need to have a chat, we need to get everyone by the fire pit.”

Meanwhile, the other Islanders look shocked as Liam prepares to deliver his news.

In Thursday's episode, Liam headed off on two dates with newcomers Afia Tonkmor and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, after the public voted to choose which boys would be joining the girls for a double date.

Liam has had a tricky start to the series. After coupling up with Gemma Owen on the first day, Gemma, 19, ended up recoupling with Davide Sanclimenti.

And despite having two good dates with Afia and Ekin-Su, the new girls' heads were turned when they arrived in the villa.

Gathered around the fire pit after they had returned from their dates, Ekin-Su said her top three boys were Davide, Andrew and Luca, while Afia was keen on Dami and Andrew, but did seem to have a connection with Ikenna, too.

People are already gutted to hear that Liam has left the villa, with one person writing on Twitter: "That's a shame about Liam. One of the most genuine people on the show."

While another said: "I feel like crying that Liam left the villa… man I feel so sorry for him."

And a third added: "Omg liam left love island he was my fave I’m so sad."

Meanwhile, Friday's episode looks like it's set to be rather tense for a number of other islanders, after preview scenes from the recoupling were released on Friday afternoon.

Luca - who has been getting to know Paige and Tasha but also revealed his feelings for Gemma during Thursday's ep - can be heard saying: "I'd like to couple up with this girl because ever since walking through that door she caught my eye.

"Obviously it wasn't an easy decision and probably until I was sat here right now, I didn't know what I was gonna' do."
