As if we weren't excited enough already!

In the trailer, we see Lady Whistledown's letters being spread across Regency London, hinting that she has been 'honing [her] skills' and 'sharpening [her] knives' in preparation for another season of gossip and scandal.

While we see sisters Kate and Edwina Sharma catch Anthony Bridgerton's eye as they enter the royal social scene, fans have also spotted some steamy moments in the teaser trailer.

On top of that, it looks like viewers might see some heartbreaking flashbacks for of Lord Edmund Bridgerton's tragic death, and the toll it took on Anthony, his eldest son.

So what do we know about season two so far? According to Netflix, fans will see Anthony (Jonathan Bailey) search for a debutante to meet his impossible standards - a search that seems never-ending until he comes across Kate (Simone Ashley) and her younger sister Edwina (Charithra Chandran).

Kate and Edwina will lead the drama this season. (

"When Anthony begins to court Edwina, Kate discovers the true nature of his intentions - a true love match is not high on his priority list - and decides to do everything in her power to stop the union.

But in doing so, Kate and Anthony’s verbal sparring matches only bring them closer together, complicating matters on both sides."

Elsewhere, Penelope Featherington will be keeping herself busy trying to keep her secret from those closest to her - all while welcoming the newest heir to the family estate.

Give us all of the drama!

As well as the Sharma sisters, Calam Lynch, and Rupert Young will also be joining the new season, while fan favourites like Phoebe Dyvenor, Ruby Barker, Golda Rosheuvel, and Nicola Coughlan will all be back for more.

Bridgerton season two will drop on Netflix on Friday, March 25th 2022.
