After Life viewers have admitted to being in floods of tears after watching the new season on Netflix - and many are calling it the best show they've ever watched.
The emotional series focuses on Tony (played by Ricky Gervais), a widowed writer who struggles to come to terms with his wife’s sudden death. After contemplating taking his own life, Tony decides instead to live long enough to punish the world by saying and doing whatever he likes from now on.
He thinks it’s like a super power, but it turns out to be tricky when everyone is trying to save the nice guy they used to know.

The third season has only been out a couple of days, but it's already landed the top spot on Netflix, with many viewers gushing about the 'incredible' show.
Hundreds took to social media, admitting they had been sobbing at the show. One wrote: "What have you done to me @rickygervais. I’m nearly 50 and spent the afternoon crying in my room like I was nine again! I loved #afterlife so much. Thank you to your brain, to you and to your whole team. #AfterLife3 is just a wonderful, beautiful wonderful #masterpiece."
While another said: "So many great moments landing right on the feels. Had me laughing, crying and more importantly it instills hope beautifully!"
And a third added: "@rickygervais has done it again - #AfterLife Season 3 is perfection! Beautifully articulates finding hope moving through grief- finding joy in the small everyday things & the power of kindness! Had me laughing one minute and crying my eyes out the next."
And a fourth said: "Just finished season 3. Bawled my eyes out."
Others are calling it the 'best show' they've ever seen, admitting to binge watching all six episodes in one go.
One wrote: "Just finished #AfterLife and it’s one of the best written shows I’ve ever seen. Every character in it is superb. Last episode had me thinking someone was chopping onions. Quality again."
While another said: "Finishing the final season of #AfterLife I can conclude again this show is one of the best pieces of television I have ever seen - it is required watching, funny and poignant and sad…. Watch it."
