Warning: Spoilers for 365 Days: This Day ahead!

It's official. The highly anticipated 365 Days: This Day has finally dropped on Netflix, and fans are already getting stuck in to the steamy drama.

After the first instalment landed on Netflix back in 2020, fans of the erotic thriller were more than prepared to watch Laura (Anna-Maria Sieklucka) and Massimo (Michele Morrone) get down and dirty all over again. But what they weren't prepared for was the shocking cliffhanger ending that followed.

After making it to the end of the film, fans admitted to being pretty confused when they were left "horny and crying" at the same time.

The sequel saw Laura and Massimo back together and hotter than ever. But things quickly got complicated for the lovers when the mysterious Nacho (Simone Susinna) arrives on the scene in a bid to win Laura's heart.

Things get messier when - plot twist - Massimo's evil twin brother Adriano (who is also played by Michele Morrone) comes into the mix, teaming up with Massimo's ex-girlfriend Anna (Natasza Urbańska) to take him down.

After catching Anna and Adirano (who she thinks is Massimo) sleeping together, a distraught Laura runs away with Nacho, leaving Massimo worried sick as he tries to make sense of what happened.

Things finally come to a head when Laura is brought face-to-face with the identical twin brother, held at gunpoint by both Adriano and Anna as Massimo and Nacho rush to her rescue when they figure out what's going on.

When Laura manages to break free from Adriano's grasp and run toward Massimo, she is quickly gunned down by Anna, falling to the floor and bleeding out right before her husband's eyes.

Viewers were left speechless by the unexpected twist and took to Twitter to discuss their thoughts.

"365 days part 2 is sooo fricken crazy!!" tweeted one fan. "Besides the sex scenes, this s**t got a major plot twist!!"

A second disappointed viewer wrote: "Finished watching 365 Days: This day and i hate the ending. why??".

And a third posted: "The way 365 Days This Day ended.. There HAS to be a third. #365daysThisDay."

One viewer, who was left feeling a mix of emotions when the credits started to roll asked: "why tf did 365 days this day have to end like that dawg. the movie got me horny and crying."

Similarly, a second wrote: "why tf did 365 days this day have to end like that, the movie got me horny and crying at the same time."

Another horrified fan added: "just finished watching 365 days: this day and wtf is that ending???!! are u kidding me?!"

But let's not get ahead of ourselves just yet. This isn't the first time we thought it was all over for Laura.

In a twist at the end of the first film, Massimo learns that a rival gang are looking to kill Laura, and the film finishes with her entering a tunnel in a car and failing to emerge from the other side.

Fans were convinced she had died, and were shocked when she appeared in the trailer for the second film.

We're hoping we'll see Laura alive and well when the trailer for the third film finally drops!

You can stream 365 Days: This Day on Netflix now.
