We’ve been using iPhones since they first came out in 2007, but there’s handy hints and hacks we’re still discovering.

For example, there’s a secret camera mode that you can activate if you know how.

Watch the video below.

TikTok user Marlon Wireless, who regularly posts phone tips and repairs (as well as the odd broken phone) revealed the simple way you can access the hidden camera.

Having racked up over 40,000 views, many were stunned to find there was an easy way to activate the camera – which has a number of unique filters.

Taking to the comments, one shocked (and jealous) person who didn’t own an iPhone wrote: “I wish Android had a feature like this,” by adding a crying emoji.

A second person added: “I need this!”

“Thanks, my arms seem to be getting too short as I get older and my eyesight turns to s**t,” a third person joked.

“Thanks for the tip bro!” said a fourth.

In other tech news, you can now view a more detailed breakdown of your Uber ratings, meaning you can find out exactly how many five-star ratings you have, and how many one stars.

Uber has launched a new 'Privacy Centre' on both the app and online, which reveals information on your individual ratings, and who has given you what.

But beware - you may not like what you find!

You can read more about that here.

You can also use your iPhone that notifies you when your kids are home safe.

TikToker @katamogz took to the video sharing platform to share the idea - and it's genius.

People can't believe they never realised the function existed, with one person writing: "Love this!!!!!! Thank you!"

While another said: "This is very helpful, thank you."

Meanwhile a third person joked: "Imagine sneaking out and forgetting to turning it off and you come back home."

Now, you won't need to think about remembering to text your mum once you're home because your iPhone will do it for you!

You can read more about that here.
