Woman claims she was sent home from work because outfit was 'too revealing'

Woman claims she was sent home from work because outfit was 'too revealing'

HR informed the woman that her work outfit is 'very distracting'

A woman claimed she was sent home yet 'again' for wearing an outfit deemed to be 'very distracting' by Human Resources.

The TikToker - who goes by the handle @NotMarieDee - has branded the whole situation as 'ridiculous' after her casual black dress was 'too revealing' to wear at work.

Watch below as she explains the whole situation:

As shown in the clip above, the text overlay reads: "Guys, it happened again. I’m getting sent home for my outfit.

"This time the HR girl approached me. I’m about to ask her."

The worker filmed her meeting with the HR representative, who was heard saying: "I’m sorry, you still can’t wear that. It’s way too revealing and distracting."

Marie replied: "It’s distracting?" as HR responded with: "Very"

After racking up millions of views, people in the comments were shocked with the whole situation.

"Is HR mad cause you look better than her?" one person asked.

Another wrote: "I’m an HR leader and I think your outfit is professional and polished!"

"She’s mad that her work crush is checking you out," a third joked.

"Do you work for the Vatican?" another quipped.

However, not all TikTokers were buying her account of what happened as some branded the HR interview as 'fake'.

One person commented: "This is 100 percent not real. But it is funny."

Another wrote: "This is a joke. I thought it was real in the first few vids but now it's clear."

Someone else said: "This is so clearly not real."

Earlier this year, a model claimed she was asked to 'put on a blouse' to cover up her 'inappropriate top' before airing a flight.

Olivia Culpo, 29, was heading to Cabo San Lucas on Thursday (13 January) with her sister Aurora and boyfriend.

She wore a black sports bra, black biker shorts, and a long black cardigan when told to cover up at the gate.

Aurora said: "Olivia and I are going to Cabo. Look at her outfit... She looks cute, she looks appropriate, no?

"They call her up to the desk and tell her that she needs to put a blouse on otherwise she can't get on the plane. Tell me, is that not so f***ed up?"

While filming, her sister added: "See? She looks beautiful but they don't care."

Olivia eventually put on her boyfriend's oversized grey hoodie in order to board the flight, leaving him probably feeling a little chilly for the journey.

According to the airline's website, it states that passengers must 'dress appropriately' in its 'conditions of carriage' and 'bare feet or offensive clothing aren't allowed'.
