Listen up Boots fans: a brand new beauty-only store from the chain is coming to the UK later this year.

While you may head to the Nottingham-founded shop for health products and even its seriously underrated meal deal, you'll be finding none of that in this new store.

That's because Boots has today announced it's launching a brand new beauty-only store in Battersea Power Station, London.

The new space, which Boots says is 11,200 sq ft, will open at some point later this year.

The store will include a supersize beauty studio for testing out the latest products and trends, while experts will also be on hand with tutorials and demos for shoppers.

Boots is promising the new 'beauty playground' will showcase over 250 brands across cosmetics, skincare and haircare.

The store sill also feature 'several new UK-exclusive brands' - something the company hopes shoppers will be flocking to the store for.

Shoppers won't just be heading to this Battersea Power Station to purchase the latest and greatest beauty products, as Boots says the store 'will be the first to launch new services such as expert skincare advice and consultations from dermatologists, skin specialising pharmacists and specially trained beauty advisors.'

Paul Niezawitowski, Beauty Director at Boots, said: “Our new Beauty showcase solidifies Boots’ position as the UK’s number one beauty destination and marks the latest innovation under our ongoing beauty reinvention programme.

"Boots continues to prioritise investment in providing a market-leading beauty shopping experience and this new beauty-only concept not only allows customers to be the very first to try new brands and products but also provides a platform to launch new services that we know our customers will love.”

The company has also promised that a new team of beauty specialists will be recruited to work in the new store, joining the 1,000+ employees offering a range of services such as free consultations.

For those not close to the London region, they may be worried that they will miss out as this new beauty store opens.

However, Boots has announced they will be introducing all of the new beauty products to their online store, so shoppers anywhere in the UK can purchase the new items.

The company will also offer the virtual skincare and beauty consultations available in the new store online through virtual meetings.
