And people are blown away by the idea, with many having no idea about the method.

One person tried it out themselves and wrote: "It worked! Amazing!"

While another said: "Omg that's crazy."

And a third added: "Wait what 😳😳😳 I’m trying this next time I shop 💁🏼‍♀️."

Meanwhile a fourth wrote: "If this works! Game changed! 😳."

"That is pretty cool never thought about that thank you," added a fifth.

Others said they already use the trick while shopping themselves, with one adding: "It works I've done this for years."

While another commented: "Yesss! My Mom told me this hack as we were growing up. Totally works! 😊."

And a third said: "Been doing this for years!!"

Others pointed out that while it does work in some instances, the method can vary depending on body shape.

"Agreed especially depending on the persons body type and stretch of jeans," said @topnotchboutique.

In other TikTok tricks, we told you how one woman shared a hack to removing creases from trainers.

People were thrilled when they came across the genius hack video. The most excited, though, were mums whose kids had refused to keep wearing their pricey trainers after they started to crease.

One parent wrote: "Never knew this. Gonna try with my son's trainers 🥰🥰"

Another commented: "Defo trying this every time my daughters Nike Air Force crease she won’t wear them 😳."

You can read more on that here.
